Academic Plan
My Academic plan has been set for me from a very young age. I plan to complete my undergrad in solely psychology and then go back to school for my masters in child psych in attempt to be able to work with children that are developmental and intellectually delayed. Therefore, my current pathway(joint honours with health and psych) will not set me up for the success I could have from being in a psych major alone. For reasons being, admission rates for graduate students in psychology are much higher and those pursuing a joint honours as well as the fact that my studies will be directed 50% to health which has little to no relevance to what I want to pursure as a job making psychology not have the focus I want it to have within my studies.
