Academic Plan
Dear Chair,
Due to the circumstances I have mentioned , I am planning the following steps to ensure I can complete my degree requirements:
1, I will continue to enroll in any available online courses offered by Queen’s University for my fall and winter terms. Unfortunately, these courses are so popular, and I have been unable to enroll in so far, even on the waiting list.
2 To solve the difficulty that I hardly enroll in online courses on SOLUS, I am requesting permission to take two or three online courses at another accredited university on a letter of permission. This will allow me to fulfill my elective requirements without the constraints of physical presence in Canada.
3, Alongside the courses taken at another university, I will also enroll in two or three online courses on SOLUS if they become available. This balanced approach will ensure that I am not solely relying on external institutions to complete my degree requirements.
4, I will closely monitor the processing times for my study permit and visa applications. If there are any changes or updates, I will adjust my plans accordingly and keep the faculty informed of my status and any potential impacts on my study plans.
5, I will maintain communication with my academic advisors to ensure that the courses I take at another university will be approved and credited towards my degree.
Given the urgency of my situation and my strong desire to complete my degree on time, I kindly ask that you approve my petition. Allowing me to take some of my elective courses at another university will give me the flexibility I need to manage my visa and study permit issues while making sure I can finish my academic requirements.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
Sincerely,
Haoliang Liu
