My name is Carly Rosenbusch, and I am entering my third year of life sciences at Queen's University. Studying abroad has always been a dream of mine, particularly at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The rich cultural and academic opportunities offered there would significantly enhance my educational experience.
I am eager to enroll in the following courses:
1. Politics of the Developing World
2. Spanish Contemporary Art
3. Urban Interventions: Graffiti & Public Sculpture
4. Intercultural Communication
5. Modernism
While I understand the current regulations limit students to 6.0 units abroad, I believe this restriction would hinder my ability to fully immerse myself in the unique offerings at UAB. Each of these courses has been carefully selected to complement my academic goals and enrich my understanding of both my major and the world.
I respectfully request an exemption from the 6.0 unit limit to allow me to pursue these courses. This opportunity is truly once in a lifetime, and I am confident it will profoundly impact my academic and personal growth.
