Academic Plan
Enrollment on a Letter of Permission: I request permission to enroll in three psychology courses (nine credits) during the Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 terms on a Letter of Permission from Queen’s University. This will allow me to complete the required courses for my degree without further delays.
Maintaining Academic Performance: I have consistently demonstrated my ability to excel under challenging circumstances. I will continue to prioritize my academic work, leveraging the skills and strategies that have enabled me to maintain a high GPA while managing an intense course load.
If my petition is granted, I am committed to excelling in these courses. I have already researched available psychology courses at other institutions and am confident that I can successfully complete them while adhering to Queen’s academic standards. To support my studies, I will maintain regular communication with my professors and academic advisors to ensure that I meet all requirements and stay on track. In the event that my request for nine credits per semester is not feasible, I am open to discussing alternative arrangements that would still allow me to graduate by April 2025. My primary objective is to complete my degree on time, and I am willing to explore any options that will help me achieve this goal. I am aware that this request is outside the typical policy, but I believe that my academic record and commitment to my studies demonstrate my ability to succeed under these circumstances. Graduating by April 2025 is critical for my future academic and professional plans, and I respectfully ask for your understanding and support in allowing me to take the necessary courses on a Letter of Permission.
