Academic Plan
My high school efforts were well rewarded in great marks and my extracurricular activities of student council and debate rewarded me in experiences. My love for school has been obscured based on the number of events pertaining to my father’s death, my attendance, and overall performance.
Looking back I do wish I had reached out to help provided by the school, however, at that time I felt the condolences would overwhelm me further. Exempting both classes listed above and waiving the year off from my record would help me come back to the school atmosphere in a positive manner.
My reaching out has been one of the biggest steps taken by accepting the events of my father’s death, and I have been reaching out to family members, and additional external help. This experience has taught me to never not ask for help when help Is needed.
