Petition Letter
Hello,
I am writing to you in regards to a failed class this year. I attempted to drop this course on the last day of the add drop period and unfortunately not to my knowledge it didn't work. I seem to remember dropping the course and receiving confirmation but I could be mistaken. I was taking Film 340 and was enjoying it unfortunately due to my schedule being involved in extra curricular theatre activities I was unable to attend the night class, seeing as it wasn't part of my major I decided to drop it.
I do not have the time to re do this course with a busy fourth year coming up I will be directing shows and acting as the Drama Department Student Council, I would just re take it and get it off my transcript that way but I don't think that will work. I really need to get this grade off of my transcript so my attempts to continue into grad school will not be effected.
