Academic Plan
If my petition to drop SOCY211 for GNDS215 is granted, I am fully committed to making the necessary adjustments to ensure my academic success moving forward. As mentioned previously, I fully intend to take SOCY211 or an equivalent statistics course in the future prior to my graduation. I have already begun attending GNDS215 lectures and have many peers in the course who have graciously offered help to catch me up on any material I may have missed in the first few weeks. Additionally, I have reviewed the syllabus and familiarized myself with the class’s progress, and I feel confident in my ability to catch up and stay aligned with the course progression. I have also been in contact with the course instructor, who supports my late enrollment, and I hope to maintain open communication with them to best integrate myself into the course.
To avoid similar issues in the future, I plan to prioritize my health and seek out timely support from health professionals to ensure that personal challenges do not interfere with my studies.
