Petition Letter
I am writing to request permission to take more than 6.0 credits outside of Queen’s during my semester abroad. I am hoping to take a full course load while there so I can stay on track with my academic plan and graduate on time. I understand the 6.0 credit limit is the standard, but taking a full course load is important for making the most of my exchange experience both academically and personally. I’ve carefully selected courses that match my degree requirements and have consulted with my academic advisor to ensure they will transfer appropriately. I am committed to continuing my studies at a high level while abroad and truly appreciate your consideration of this request.
