I am writing to you to request consideration to waive the 21 day appeal deadline in order to formally request a waiver to withdraw from the programe for a period of one year.
Upon completion of my 2015 fall term I began working my summer job in Northern Ontario which began on May 17 2015. I was unaware of my situation until July 6, 2015 at which point I was trying to generate a letter of enrollment to prepare my financing for the upcoming year. Upon contacting student services I was informed that an email was sent to me on or around May 25, 2015 advising me of my situation. This email was not received. I have checked back on all of my Queens emails (12mjn@queeensu.ca) dating back to the middle of May and nowhere can this document be found. Furthermore I have searched my Solus account and am unable to find this document anywhere. I also checked with my family to see if the letter might have be mailed to my home address and found that nothing was received there. The only item found was in the hold section a note which states Req to withdraw for one year which is not time or date stamped. The first opportunity given to me to review the letter was on July 10, 2015 when it was emailed to me by Ms. Haley Everson. I really had no reason to access my Solus account prior to this date. I am requesting this waiver as it is my intent to appeal your decision in order that I may put forward documentation in order to be reconsidered for readmission.
