Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am writing this petition to apply for a credit standing for PHIL 204- Life, Death and Meaning.
The extenuating circumstance that was beyond my control was a - week TA strike that led to all classes being canceled, and all term work being on pause for this course. This unusual academic event led to term work being put on pause- leaving each and every student at queens including myself negatively affected.
As instructed by the professor of this course, we did not have to complete remaining course work as we were unsure if they would ever be marked.
The particular events occurred from week 6 of the academic semester all the way until May 7th. We had no ability to contact with the professor, as she was on strike.
During or after their occurrence of the extenuating circumstance, I regularly checked for any updates to see if classes would be running for PHIL 204, and to see if anything came to a result.
Thank you
