Petition Letter
Dear Associative Dean and petition reviewers,
I am writing to respectfully request a further deferral of two final exams from the Winter 2025 term, which were initially deferred due to mental health challenges. Unfortunately, I have recently encountered another significant health issue that prevents me from attending the deferred exam sessions scheduled for this month.
On May 1, 2025, I was diagnosed with recurrent pain in the postoperative area of my right knee, which significantly limits my mobility. As advised by my physician at Zhenghe County Hospital, I am required to restrict the range of motion of my right knee and undergo physical therapy for two months to manage the condition. The attached medical certificate from Zhenghe County Hospital confirms my diagnosis and the recommended treatment.
Due to the severity of this condition and the prescribed treatment plan, I am unable to attend the deferred exams as scheduled. I kindly request that these exams be further deferred and rescheduled to a later date, allowing me to complete them once I have sufficiently recovered.
I remain fully committed to completing these courses and am prepared to write the exams as soon as I am medically cleared to do so. Please let me know if you require any further information or documentation to support my petition.
