Petition Letter
Greetings! Hope this message finds you well.
I was directed by my instructor to submit a petition at this link, and unfortunately, I do not have an extenuating circumstance for missing the specific assignment that I am submission this petition for. The assignment that I missed and am looking for an official extension for was a team assessment for my end-of-year group assignment. I had missed this required assignment, which was a survey rating how well each of my group members contributed. This was a personal mistake for missing it on my part, and I am aware that this does not qualify as an extenuating circumstance. My reason for reaching out about this particular assignment is because of its high weight and lack of unfair advantage for being completed after the deadline. The survey was worth 5% of my overall grade, and would quite significantly help increase my GPA from the low point that it is at right now. I understand if there is nothing that can be done, but I wanted to reach out regardless to see if there is anything that can be done.
