Academic Plan
In order to achieve academic success this up-incoming school year, I plan to take lighter courses, meet with an academic advisor regularly, and to wait until the end of my second year to fully finish my plan selection. Last year I struggled with the transition from high school to university therefore, taking lighter classes will ensure I am able to succeed and get out of academic probation. Now that the strike is over I will also have much more support allowing me to get the help I need to succeed in my classes. In order to keep my mental health and be in a good academic standing I plan to join study groups and begin counselling to make sure I am using my resources to the best of my abilities.
I have made the decision to change to an arts major from a science major as it is too much for me and it is not the program I need to succeed in my future career. I have spent a lot of time planning and adjusting my life in order to ensure my success at Queens this year. I will continue to be in contact with academic advising to make sure I am on track throughout my studies.
