Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean (Academic),
I hope this message finds you well.
I am emailing regarding my grade appeal for the 2024 Fall Term, consisting of three courses under course codes BCHM 218, PHGY 215, and CHEM 281. The reason for my appeal is that I was unaware of my registration in these courses until I was told I had late fees, as I never registered for them myself.
I was under the belief that my withdrawal had gone through in the summer of 2024 and that I would not have to be concerned about academics or finances any longer at Queen's as I had transferred my studies to the University of British Columbia for the 2024-2025 Winter Session and am currently continuing my studies there. I am asking for an appeal to remove the grades and courses from my transcript so that I may move on to appealing the financial tuition payment for those courses.
Thank you for considering my request and my appeal.
Best regards,
Ethan Skjaveland
