Petition Letter
Hello there!
I am writing to you to express my interest towards enrolling in the DRAM 100A course. I would like the opportunity to do so as I feel that this course better aligns with my needs.
The courses I am switching out for DRAM 100A are POLS 111 and POLS 112 (in the winter semester), as I understand that DRAM 100A is an A and B course. By doing so, I feel that it will help a lot with my anxiety. Since I have begun attending the POLS 111 lectures and tutorials, I have noticed that the course is not the right fit for me. The readings and assignments have caused me a lot of anxiety, and I feel that the DRAM 100A course will better suit me. I am interested in minoring in Drama as well, so this class will give me the start I need. I would like to enroll in the lecture class 3807 (Thursday 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm) and the laboratory class 3819 (Wednesday 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm), and have confirmed that these times work with my existing schedule. I have spoken to the professor of DRAM 100A and was permitted to attend the class if my petition is approved.
I hope that under these circumstances, my petition may be approved and I may proceed forward to entering the DRAM 100A course.
