Good morning,
My name is Sarah Dube, and I am currently a final year Mechanical Engineering student at Queen's. I am really interested in MUSC 171; I have taken MUSC 156 and really enjoyed the content, and I believe this course would help me develop my understanding of culture in the music field. Additionally, I have a radio show at CFRC (Beat Banter) where we discuss music from all genres and their connection to other artists and production. We often run interviews with Canadian and local musicians, and I hope to be able to incorporate what I learn from this class in the show. I also make music myself and find myself striving for more courses that align with my interests, such as MUSC 171. Unfortunately the class I missed the add course deadline due to issues with academic advisors in the engineering department, so I was wondering if it would be possible to make an exception and add me to the course. Please let me know if you have any questions for me, and thank you for your consideration.
