Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean:
I am writing to request to add a course after the last official date for adding classes. As this course is an independent study course (honours thesis), I am unable to enroll myself.
I first contacted the DEVS Undergraduate Chair regarding my request for an independent study course on Friday September 5th. I was able to secure a supervising professor on Monday September 8th; however, we were not able to meet in person to fill out the paperwork until September 16th.
Prior to September 15th, I contacted the Undergraduate Chair to ask if the department would support my application for DEVS 501 even though the deadline will have passed. His response was,
