Petition Letter
I am requesting permission to add SPAN 111 (Winter 2026) after the academic deadline. I missed the Winter add deadline by one day due to a misunderstanding of the cutoff date and realized this immediately upon attempting to enrol on January 17.
Once I became aware of the error, I contacted the department. I understand the expectations of the course and am fully prepared to catch up on any missed material and coursework as soon as possible. As the course currently has an open seat, I am respectfully requesting consideration for a late add.
