Petition Letter
Dear Dean,
I am formally requesting permission to withdraw from PHYS 250 for the current term. Despite my efforts and engagement with the course materials I am not satisfied with my academic success and standing in this course.
After careful consideration, I believe it is in my best interest to withdraw from it willingly rather than have an unsatisfactory academic performance. I have adjusted my plans for next year's courses in accordance with this action. Granting this decision will aid in my long-term academic goals.
I understand the gravity of the request as I have made very few during my time as an undergraduate student, and I assure you that using this opportunity to reassess my workload and refine my Physics skills will ensure a stronger academic showing going forward.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Aidon Lambert-McComb
