Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
Due to a unique summer job opportunity, I was unable to attend the second half of my independent exchange through ILOP, and therefore only completed 6.0 of the 12.0 units I had planned to take. As a result, I must find a way to complete credits towards my degree during the Summer 2026 semester. Since learning about this in March, I have been on the waitlists and actively checking for space to open within the Queen's psychology courses, however, I am concerned that I will not get off the waitlist.
I have found two courses through University of Western Ontario offered asynchronously online, which would allow me to complete a significant component of my remaining requirements for my psychology minor, while providing flexibility with my work schedule.
I consulted with a Queen’s Academic Advisor to ensure that I will complete my BAH degree plan on time, and was advised that completion of summer 2026 courses will be critical to my ability to graduate on time, so I am very grateful for your consideration.
Kind regards,
Charlotte Ford
