Academic Plan
My plan, which I have developed alongside my Academic advisor from the Four Directions Indigenous Student Center and my Con-Ed advisor, is first and foremost to present the classes I researched at Athabasca University to the History Department for approval as equivalencies. I intend to work only part-time this summer to allow myself adequate time to concentrate on my studies and do well in the remaining 9.0 units. As I mentioned in my petition, this would be a drastically reduced course load compared to what I took on during the fall and winter terms of this past year, so I expect to be able to excel. My advisors have informed me that starting with courses from Athabasca in June will see me receive grades around mid-August, just in time to receive my BAH in October and continue in my regular Con-Ed stream.
