Academic Plan
My plan to succeed academically moving forward begins with creating the structure and accountability that I now understand I need. I intend to remain in regular contact with my academic advisor, attend office hours when I need clarification, and seek support early rather than waiting until I feel overwhelmed. I will continue working with my therapist to manage my anxiety and depression in a healthier and more consistent way, while also maintaining routines that support my academic performance, including regular sleep, exercise, and dedicated study time. I also plan to break larger assignments and exam preparation into smaller, manageable goals so that I can stay on top of my coursework throughout the semester rather than trying to recover once things become difficult. Regrading the courses I was not able to complete in the fall and winter, I’d really appreciate the opportunity to make up for missed coursework should the professors allow it. Most importantly, I now recognize that academic success requires not only intelligence and effort, but also consistency, communication, and asking for help when needed. With these supports and strategies in place, I am confident that I can return to the level of academic performance I know I am capable of achieving.
