Academic Plan
To whom it may concern,
I aim to not only better plan out the time that I have to not only study and review materials for class, but also not let myself fall behind by giving myself ample time to rest and stay stress free. I will seek help from Learning Strategies and Counselling when it comes to dealing with assignments, deadlines and stressful situations within the school environment. But going through the past year, now I have a better idea of what is expected at a university level and am very committed to academic success. That way I can be in optimal shape to continue pursuing my Bachelors Degree here at Queen's University. As well I will be having regular meetings with Dr. Arunima from HCDS so that I will not be overwhelmed in coping with stressful situations and be able to focus on school as a priority and similarly make sure I give myself enough time to expand my social circles so I don't feel like I'm not a part of the community. As well I will make sure that if I feel that a 100 course load is too much I'll drop some courses before add/drop deadlines so that way I can concentrate on fewer courses but still do well. As well I am taking time to find exactly what major I want to pursue still, and hopefully by the time this summer has ended I'll have a renewed focus on the upcoming year.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this appeal. I guarantee that I will uphold to the ways that I have detailed in this letter to strive towards the academic goals that I've set. I hope to continue to be able to study here at Queen's University this coming 2014 fall term.
Regards,
Tina Hiu Yan Cheung
