Academic Plan
At my return to Queen¿¿s University I plan on becoming the student I came here to be, and I know I can be. I plan on enrolling as a continuing first year in the Bachelor of Science (Honours), my current program. I intend on majoring in Biology, rather than my original intent of Life Sciences as I realized it is not an academic pathway that favours my intellectual strengths. I have recently grown interest in pharmacology, a summer course currently enrolled. In the future I now know to ask for help and possibly even a tutor when I fall behind or when I do not comprehend the material being taught. I will also begin to take courses that interest me, and courses I believe I will do well on, opposed to those that my family or peers expect me to. If I are to return to athletics at Queens University, I have improvised a plan with athlete services to have weekly meetings to ensure academics remain a first priority, as they always have been. I hope this appeal is taken into serious consideration, as it is not a reflection of who I am as a student, but an important learning experience.
