Academic Plan
Dear Dr. Bénard,
I do believe that I am a good student and this is the first time that anything like this has happened to me. Upon receiving the notice of breach of academic integrity from Dr. Fergus, I immediately started writing a new paper in hopes that they would accept this new paper with a penalty. In the new year I will be meeting with counselling services to talk about my stress. I hope this will help me with my stress involving my family, my school work and my future. I originally planned on taking four courses in the winter semester but I will now be taking five in order to graduate on time. I also plan on returning to Queen¿¿s in the fall of 2016 in order to retake HLTH 205 as well as take a few other courses in order to boost my GPA. My future is very important to me and I wish to enroll in a graduate program in order to have a fulfilling career. However, I am concerned that the current penalty given to me will make me an unattractive candidate in the eyes of any graduate program. I am truly sorry for what I did but I don¿¿t think that this one mistake should dictate the rest of my academic future.
Sincerely,
Lukas Burch
