Petition Letter
I am appealing to extend the incomplete grade for MATH 121.
I took math 121 during last summer but I missed the midterm due to a technical difficulty and it was rearranged.
In december, I missed the midterm due to gastroenteritis and I requested a deferral for the midterm exam with a proper medical documentation but I did not recieve any reply after a month.
Today, I talked to Professor Alan Ableson and he asked me to submit an appeal so he could provide me an alternative date for the midterm exam.
In december, I visited a doctor a few days before the exam and took some prescribed medication, hoping to feel better but I was still suffering from nausea due to gastroenteritis during the exam period.
As the result, I missed the MATH 121 midterm exam held in Grant Hall, Tue Dec 15th, 9 AM - 12 PM.
In the near future, either in feburary or in april, I look forward to take the midterm exam when it is rearranged.
