Academic Plan
The course structure of GRMN 419 is well suited to my academic plan this year; and even with the conflict with MICR 221. The Monday and Thursday lectures for MICR 221 are often cancelled (indeed, they have been 4 times thus far), allowing me to attend GRMN 419 lectures in their entirety. In addition, the in-class midterm for GRMN 419 falls on a day when the lecture for MICR 221 is cancelled, so no accommodations are necessary in that respect. The course is primarily based on readings, which are supplemented by lecture (not vice versa), and any holes from not attending lecture are filled by the weekly extra GRMN sessions, which I have been attending since the beginning.
In case the outstanding incompletes from the previous term cause concern, I have already devised a clear plan to complete these incompletes, primarily during Reading Week. Although the number of ¿¿IN¿ seems large, in each of these cases, there is only generally one final assessment (ex. a presentation or test) that was not completed due to health issues in the last week of Fall Term, that have all already been planned with the professors in question. Regarding my courses this year, I have chosen courses with a workload that suits my learning methods to maximum efficiency. I have seen no major hurdles up to now, and consider myself well prepared to tackle the post-Reading Week course loads for these courses, as similar to my successes in Winter 2014 and 2015.
