Petition Letter
To whom this may concern,
My name is Rachel Hunt and I am a student here at Queens University. Please consider this as my letter to appeal the 21-day period, in order to appeal my final grade and mark. The reason I am appealing the rule of 21 days, was a combination of circumstances. The first reason being, I was unaware of the extent of this resource. I was under the impression that appealing a mark was purely for individual grades between a student and an individual professor. In addition, when I failed this class I was in the process of registering with disability services. With that being said, if this appeal of the 21-day limit is accepted, I have, and am willing to share my documentation proving my registration with disability services, along with more detail pertaining the personal issues I was dealing with at that time. Having this grade be appealed will be a large factor in whether I am able to continue my studies here at queens and eventually fulfill my goals of being a Queens graduate. Thank you for considering my appeal and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Rachel Hunt
