Academic Plan
My academic plan for 2014/2015 would be to seek support from the learning strategies services in order to improve my study skills and, when necessary, seek tutoring or extra support on course material. Given the academic rigor required for the successful completion of an economics degree, balancing my economics courses with courses outside the discipline would be beneficial rather than enrolling only in economics courses. The classes I plan on taking, should this appeal be successful, will be ECON 310, ECON 255, FREN P16, and COGS 100. ECON 310 and ECON 255 are core courses. I also plan to improve my performance in the program through a reduction in my course load to 80 in order to dedicate more time to each course. Additionally, I will seek extra guidance from the Faculty of Arts and Science's advisors to help me execute my plan. With these steps in mind, I believe I will be able to succeed and excel next year.
