Academic Plan
To whom it may concern,
While attending York university for the 2016-2017 academic school year through the visiting program, I plan to take courses that will fulfil my bachelor of arts honours degree, majoring in French. With the permission of the French department at Queens, I intend on registering in various classes at York that correlate with my French major degree at Queens university. Although I have chosen to return home for the year for personal reasons, I believe that York university's Glendon campus will be the right choice for me for the next school year because they are a bilingual campus. I believe that I will benefit from returning home and studying there for a year, and afterwards intend on returning to Queens to fulfil my last year of students from 2017-2018 with a better mindset
The courses I have taken into consideration at Glendon campus are:
- FRAN 4651- Histoire de langue Française similaire to FREN 363 at Queens
- FRAN 2210- Pratiques de rédaction : résumé et synthèse similaire to FREN 330 at Queens
- FRAN 2212- Pratiques de rédaction : l'argumentation similaire to FREN 331 at Queens
- FRAN 3608- Roman féminine des XVII, XVIII et XIX Siècles
- FRAN 3660- Littérature Québécoise depuis 1960 similaire to FREN 335 at Queens
Thank you for your understanding,
