Academic Plan
My future plan for achieving academic success is to re-take the courses that I failed in order to start from scratch again. In this case of ongoing extenuating circumstances I am willing to take a 60 work load which is still a full-time student allowing me to still get my full OSAP funding and a lighter course load may be more appropriate given my circumstances. I will also be willing to attend regular meeting with a personal counselor that can help me keep me in the right track when it comes to my emotional/psychological health. In addition, I am willing to have an academic plan prepared in order to focus on my goals, motivate me and help me be successful. In addition, as stated above, I will be firstly focusing in re-taking those courses that I did poorly on. I will also be planning consultation with my professors and T.As when necessary. I will also be willing to use assistance from campus resources such as Learning Strategies as well as joining the Peer Mentoring Program. Furthermore, since life events from the past academic year were the reason why I did poorly on my academic career, I am able to say that I learnt from my mistakes of keeping everything to myself and I let my psychological state take over my life academically, I intend to overcome this and refrain from it to happen again by again seek those resources Queen's offers to student as well keeping myself active and involved in my academics by joining study groups and stay in track with my counselor.
