Academic Plan
As mentioned in my appeal letter, I aim to switch from Bachelors of Science (Honours) to Bachelors of Arts (Honours) in Geography. For now I aim to take a normal course load of 30 units since I'm fully confident I will recover. I'm retaking Biology 103 this summer and I'm taking another new course (Development 100), not simply to raise my GPA (though that is very important) but because these courses are relevant to the program I intend to switch to (Geography) and are interesting to me. I also plan to retake Mathematics 121 in the summer of 2017, for the same reasons as above.
The current course load I'm taking (9 summer units) is considered equivalent to a full course load during the school year, so how well I do right now will indicate the appropriate number of courses I should take next semester. I have the flexibility of dropping courses well before the deadline in September, and since my summer results should be released by August I will have time to decide my next actions.
Other than that, I will continue my regular meetings with my psychiatrist to ensure proper recovery and to prevent a relapse of any unfortunate symptoms.
