Academic Plan
I have 24 credits left to successfully graduate and I intend to do so in fall 2017 should my appeal be granted. Additionally, I will be submitting an appeal for my courses from fall 2013/winter 2014 and fall 2015/winter 2016. I now understand that stress is a prevailing trigger to my condition and so I intend to take a much lighter course load; that is, three classes for the fall 2016 semester and three more for the winter 2017 semester and the remaining two for the summer 2017 semester. Furthermore, I find that I function much better and are able to successfully manage my disorder when I am around supportive family, some of whom are located here in Ottawa. For this reason, I will attempt to take as many online courses as possible so I can benefit from their support, and for classes that are not available online, I will make regular trips to Kingston to meet with professors and attend lectures. More so, if allowed by the department, I could also take some courses from either University of Ottawa or Carleton University. I will continue to meet regularly with a psychiatrist and a counselor to manage my condition and my health in general.
