Petition Letter
I am very sorry for contacting you late. I apologize for this delay. For past summer, I have spent quite some time what I want from my life, what I need to achieve in my life, what I need to change in order to achieve those goals that I set for myself, and what I need to do to find the inner peace for myself.
As for my reason to waive the 21-day deadline, I did not know that I could just proceed with the appeal process without recommendation letter from a professional. I was later told that I could just submit my case first and then get the recommendation after. Without this knowledge, I waited for Freeman Woolnough's recommendation letter to arrive, but he was on a vacation until after the deadline had passed. I received an email from Freeman on June 8th saying that he sent a letter of support to the Art/Sci Office, and then I proceeded with the appeals.
