Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am appealing to enroll CLST 102 (Fall 2016). At first I did not plan to take this course, but after I attended one CLST 102 lecture last week. I found myself really interested in classics, so I want to change my plan from major in economics to classics. And if I want to major in classics, CLST 102 is mandatory for the first year.
I thought that 23 September was the deadline to drop classes without financial penalty and had no idea it was also the deadline to add a class. And I also had a time conflict in my course schedule. I spent a long time tried to fix the time conflict problem, and I finally made it today. I have emailed the professor for CLST 102, he was willing to take me in if the department approved my appeal. I know I missed quite a lot classes, but I will work hard for it and try my best to keep up with the course. And I have already started taking the lecture from the beginning of the week 3. So I really hope you can make it possible for me to enroll in this course.
