Petition Letter
To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing this letter of appeal due to a medical condition that has seriously interrupted my ability to complete my courses as a second year Honors Arts student (Economics Major). I had to fly home in January of 2013 to have medical treatment.
I enrolled in Math 121 Online this summer, as it is a requirement to obtain my Economics Degree and a prerequisite for my third year courses.
I was unable to complete this course due to the unforeseen circumstances and the unpredictable nature of my medical condition. I found myself very behind in the course right from the beginning. As it can be seen on Moodle, I was unable to complete the assignments passed the third week of the course as I had a relapse in my condition. I was hopeful to recover, get caught up on assignments and complete the math course. This unfortunately didn¿¿t occur. I would like the F in this course removed from my transcript, as I believe it is not a proper representation of the nature of my ability or why I was unable to complete my course.
I am hopeful to fully recover and continue working on my Queens degree.
Attached is a doctors note restating this information formally.
Thank you for consideration and understanding in this difficult matter.
Best Regards,
Taylor Greer
