Dear Associate Dean of Studies,
I am appealing to drop multiple courses in my transcript. Despite it being past the due date to drop courses, I am hoping I can drop these courses due to my circumstances. I understand that I was given an extension to complete some of my courses. However due to my health concerns I was unable to finish all the courses. The courses that I'm asking to be dropped had an exam where I was unable to attend the makeup exam and after a certain time period the professor was unable to create an exam for me.
The past few years I have been struggling with a physical illness that has been affecting my academics. This has made finding time to write an exam on campus difficult. Despite my communication with professors through email, my hopes to complete these courses have failed due to last minute medical procedures.
I hope to start with a clean slate and enrol in new courses for this semester in order to ensure better academic success.
Thank you for your time and efforts in this request.
Sincerely,
Vaithini Vijayakumar
