Petition Letter
To Whom It May Concern,
I'm writing this letter to make an appeal to add a course after the last official date for adding classes. I have contacted the instructor of the course, and she has granted her permission for me to join the course. The course that I wish to add of my appeal is Music 102. I'll explain the circumstances that prevented me from adding the course to the due date.
I was unable to pay for the tuition because I'm currently financially supported by my parents in China. The wiring process usually takes a little time. However, it was extremely slow this time. Therefore, I was not able to pay for winter term's tuition of which resulted in being a course add block. By the time I paid the tuition, and my add block was lifted, the time has already passed the last official date for adding classes.
Despite not being able to officially add the course, I was able to sit in and take notes to follow the course. As I stated before, the instructor of the course Dr.Pegley acknowledges my circumstance and has granted permission for me to join the class.
Please take my appeal into consideration as I have a great interest in this course and I trust Queen's University will allow students to flourish in their interests.
Sincerely,
Edward Zhang
