Sorry to bother you,
I am a first-year student in Queen's and I've got transfer credits for my economics courses begin with 1, so right now I am taking economics courses begin with 2.
Last Friday, before the deadline 12.00pm, when I wanna take the course ECON243, I thought it would be so easy that just add a course.
But when I pressed the 'add' button, the souls said there is something wrong that I can not add it at this time. After that, I tried 3 times, but I still can not add it.
Then next Tuesday I went to the art&sin office and they told me the day for adding course has already gone and the reason why I can not add the course (ECON243) probably may because of my transfer credits, that I don't have the permission to add it, I need to go to the department of economics to ask them to help me add it.
Then they told me I need to submit an appeal, before that, I need to contact with the instructor( professor of ECON243) and the undergraduate chair, to ask for some advice, and I recovered their reply the other day. The instructor said he has no objection to my enrolment in ECON243 and he can help me catch up. That was really nice. And the undergraduate chair, he said he doesn't have the right to help me add it.
I really wanna add this course after I dropped a full-year course. Because I am thinking of my GPA for the end of the winter term, and if I could do well in this course, my GPA would be higher and It would be much helpful for me to choose the major which I really like.
If you could help me to add it, then this week, I could start it and do my best to catch up.
