Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean Of Studies,
I would like to enrol in 2 summer school online courses for the may-july program at Queen's University. My results for these courses came after the academic deadline for summer school enrolment. For that reason I was unable to enrol on time or even look into the deadlines for the summer programs. My academic status is in jeopardy if I do not re-take these programs, and it will also deny me the chance to declare a major in Biology for next year. I spoke with an academic counsellor as well as an attendant and they said that they will look into my situation and possibly accept my application without the 50 fee. However I did not hear back from them yet and I have decided to pay the fee anyways because I do not want to miss anymore days in these courses. I have taken an online course before and assignments are usually given 3 weeks into the course and I already know the material that is being covered. Please consider my appeal and allow me to enrol in these courses.
