Academic Plan
Upon being reinstated, I plan on registering in second year computer science courses. I hope to take advantage of this opportunity to take the required courses for computer science in order for me to transfer over in the future, more specifically, software design. I am currently retaking a math course that I did not do well in first year, which will help increase my GPA and satisfy one of the qualifications for me to internally transfer to computer science at Queen¿¿s. I will continue to be a full time student except I will be taking 24-30 credits a year and if possible, slowly increase the number of credits taken a year. I have also considered spreading my courses out and taking less courses at one time. Of course, I will be talking to an academic advisor regarding which courses I should take this upcoming fall in order to be able fulfil requirements for a transfer. As the major case of my academic standing stems from depression and sleep disorder, I will continue to seek counselling along with the antidepressants and regular contact with my psychiatrist. With that, I will also be making adjustments to the way I approach different obstacles whether in personal life or academics, including making improvements for better time management.
