Petition Letter
To: Associate Dean of Studies -
I am appealing to drop PSYC100 (Summer, May-July), past the deadline of June 24th.
I am appealing to drop this course as I have already taken it, and was re-taking it as I had previous plans on majoring in psychology, and required a higher grade. I have since chosen another path, and now do not require the course for a second time. I would be dropping this course due to the fact that financially, I cannot afford to pay the tuition for a course I no longer need, and have previously taken and paid for. As well as a financial struggle, dropping this course past the deadline will also create a penalty on my academics. This appeal will allow me to focus on my other current summer courses, without the financial and academic stress of a course I have already taken.
If this appeal is approved, I will be contacting the university's fees office to appeal for a tuition refund.
