Petition Letter
My name is Shannon Townsend and I am in 3rd year Physical and Health Education and my student number is 10053999. For the first two weeks back I had been trying to get into the physics P20 course and last week I registered in KNPE 355 because I couldn't get into any other classes and needed a 5th class. I registered after the KNPE 355 classes had happened that week so up to that date I had not attended a lecture in 355 yet. My room mate is also in this class and I was therefore hesitant to take it but there were no other options for me at this time. I was hesitant to take it because due to my own anxiety levels I get very nervous taking the same course as my room mate. I am already taking 3 courses with her and for my own sake I really wanted to take an elective that I could I could take with out my room mate. I noticed on saturday there were spots available in the Phys P20 course. I tried adding it to my schedule and all it said was that I couldn't because it was over my course load so I tried dropping 355 and adding Phys P20 but it said I couldn't perform a transaction at that time. I know this is because I was past the drop date however my first instinct when I saw spaces open in PHYS P20 was to drop KNPE 355 and try enrolling in PHYS P20. Now I am stuck with a course load of only 4 classes because I can't get into either course on solus. I really wanted to take a course that I was interested in and for that reason I am very interested in taking PHYS P20
