Petition Letter
I am appealing to add CISC 102 late to my fall term. This is a required course for my Biomedical Computing degree in first year, and thus it is imperative that I be added to this course. When I initially signed up for my courses in July, I was referencing a prerequisite chart on the Queen's Biomedical Computing website that was out of date. As such, I enrolled in the courses that it said are required for me in first year. I had no idea that they had added a new course, CISC 102, that is required for all computing students in first year. Through discussion with my peers, I just found out that I had to be in CISC 102. Thus, I believe that it was an administrative error that led to my current circumstance.
As all Biomedical Computing students course loads are completely full in first year, I cannot stress the importance of adding this course into my schedule, as will be reinforced by Irene LaFleche.
Sincerely,
Sean Nesdoly (10135490)
Note to Hayley: I have already been in contact with Irene LaFleche, and she has emailed the ArtSci faculty with the request to add me into CISC 102 as soon as possible.
