Petition Letter
I am requesting CR status for the course DRAM331 that I took this Fall 2017 semester with the instructor Chick Reid. During this time I was unable to properly manage my bipolar depression that even with accommodations in place, made it hard to be successful in this class because half of the grade is based on participation.
Participation: 50
Monologue: 20
Duologue: 20
Checklist: 5
Rehearsal log: 5
I successfully completed the workload tasks of the checklist, monologue, and duologue but received a D+ in the class because many of the days I was incapacitated because of my depression and unable to come to class. I would very much like to at least receive a CR standing for this course because I believe I did the best I could in the course to succeed minus participation given the circumstances.
