Petition Letter
To whom it may concern
I am writing this to request your permission to enroll into the Jews on Film course since it is past the winter term class deadline. This is my last semester at queen's and I plan on graduating in June, to do so I require 6.0 history credits to fulfill my history minor. I was originally enrolled in this class (HIST 244) and switched into a french literature class unaware that it was actually 6.0 history credits that I needed to fulfill my degree and did not realize until this week past the deadline. I am so sorry for the inconvenience and would really appreciate your help and consent to enroll/switch into this course so I can complete my degree on time. To add background to my situation, I have been dealing with mental and emotional challenges for some time now, I deal with borderline personality disorder, which has affected and distracted my studies, as a result I am also enrolled in academic accomodations. I made the decision to originally switch courses without confirming my degree requirements because I was certain it wouldn't be an issue, but I was wrong and this is causing me a lot of stress because I really would like to graduate in June.
Thank you for your understanding,
Kimberly Bantula
