I would like to apply for an Aegrotat Standing for my GNDS 120 course (Women, Gender, Difference).
On November 30, 2017, I was admitted to the Emergency Department of the Brockville General Hospital due to a medical condition for which I am still being treated. Please find my Doctor's Note attached to this email for further information. Because of this medical condition, I was unable to write my scheduled exams and GNDS 120 final essay for the fall term of the 2017/2018 school year.
I have been working closely with my Accessibility Services Advisor, Meg Hall, and my Academic Advisor, Spring Forsberg. It was suggested that as my GNDS 120 course was complete except for the final essay (worth 25 of my final grade), I could apply for an Aegrotat Standing.
I have since been able to continue school by dropping a course and completing my other two courses online. I would also like to receive credit for the completion of my GNDS 120 course.
