Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean of Studies,
I would like to add (appeal) BIOL 350 to my course schedule, as it will allow me to complete all of my required natural and physical science courses for my Bachelor of Science degree. This course will be replacing my ENSC 290 course that I plan to drop if I am successful with the enrolment of BIOL 350. I would like to drop ENSC 290 as I have determined ¿¿ unfortunately, later on in the term - that I do not like the course content. There have only been 3 lectures thus far, which has mostly contributed to my late decision to drop the course. I have done my research into which courses could replace ENSC 290 and BIOLO 350 seems to the best fit with my interests as a science student.
If granted the opportunity to be enrolled in this course, I assure you that I will be fully engaged in lecture and committed to catching up on material that I have missed. Both the course department and instructor are happy to accommodate my late enrolment, which I am sure will help the transition process.
