Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am appealing to add a course after the deadline for my Queen's Undergraduate Internship Program. The reason behind me missing the deadline had to do with a hold on my Queen's account. I had some outstanding fees that needed to be paid before I could be added to the course. Now, I was under the impression that my request to be added to the course was on hold until my fee's were paid, and once the payments went through, I would be added automatically. I was not aware that after the hold was cleared, that I would have to contact someone again to inform them, so that I could be added manually. By the time I realized that I had not been added to the course, the deadline had passed. I have contacted my Undergraduate Program Assistant, Irene LaFleche, and she has instructed me to fill out this appeal to be added to the course, stating We would support your appeal.
In the meantime, more fees have become due on my Queen's account, but those have just been paid, so if there is a new hold on my account, it should be removed once the payments are processed.
Thank you for considering my appeal, and if you have any further questions, please contact me on my cell at 613-277-7927, through my personal email at jonathan.p.stanford@gmail.com, or through my Queen's email at 1js36@queensu.ca.
Sorry for any trouble that I have caused,
