Academic Plan
The Academic plan to be implemented upon the approval of the academic appeal will include four components that will allow my success as a student at Queen's Univesity in the Fall term of 2018.
The first step in the academic plan would address my mental health, especially in relation to my stress, anxiety, and depression as experience and document by residence outreach Councillor Mary Green. This step would be to take a lighter course load each semester, with augmenting the additional courses needed during the summer term. This step came under the recommendation of residence outreach Councillor Mary Green, and Appeals Coordinator and Academic Advisor Hayey Everson.
The second step in the academic plan would be to complete my undergraduate degree in an additional year, as this would allow me to retake the courses that were failed in the 2017 / 2018 academic term, and complete my education in a time frame that would promote a successful outcome. This step came under the recommendation of residence outreach Councillor Mary Green, and Appeals Coordinator and Academic Advisor Hayey Everson.
The third step in the academic plan would be to maintain regular appointments with doctor Leon Irish, the Medical professional who was put in charge of documenting my condition, and working with me to find a solution to the constant debilitating migraines. This step in the academic plan came under the recommendation of Doctor Leon Irish.
The fourth step in the academic plan would be to regularly visit and have appointments with a migraine clinic in Toronto, as this would allow greater documentation of these migraines, and would allow for solutions to be created in preventing migraines from having an impact towards my success at Queen's University in the future. This step in the academic plan came under the recommendation of Doctor Leon Irish.
